Joey Room 

Nursery (0 – 2 years) 

2 staff / 8 children
The nursery is a bright, fun and cuddles filled environment.
Two experienced staff work closely with families to meet the changing needs of each individual child.  
In between routine times of feeding and sleeping, children safely explore both inside and outside with their teachers close by for support, guidance and encouragement.    Amongst other exciting activities a busy day may include painting, songs and rhymes, building.

The size of our nursery room is much larger than the prescribed regulation requirement,  it also includes a comfortable nappy change area along with a feeding preparation kitchenette.  A restful sleeping area allows quiet time away from the group when needed.

Possum Room

Toddlers (2 - 3 years) 

2 staff / 12 children
The toddler room promotes the children’s autonomy and independence through play experiences.  The children enjoy a wide variety of experiences including; creative, music, role play, physical, social and emotional.  We encourage the children’s input into our program and readily extend on their interests.  Parent participation is encouraged within our program.
The toddler room has a nappy change area along with toilet training facility and a kitchenette.

Koala Room 

Kindergarten (3 – 4 years)  

2 staff / 24 children
Our child centred program, reflects our belief that each child is unique with individual needs and interests, therefore, we will accept each child for his or her individual qualities. 
 We believe each child to be special, having their own physical characteristics, cultural backgrounds, family status, religion, cognitive capabilities, age and gender.  The child is the focus of our program and is the motivation of our days work.
The size of this room is much larger than the prescribed regulation requirements.

Emu Room

PrePrep (3.6 – 5 years) 

2 staff / 24 children
Our qualified and experienced early childhood teacher plans and implements age appropriate programs based on needs and interests.  These programs develop the whole child.  The abilities, skills and attitudes that evolve from these experiences establish foundations for later learning. 

Playgrounds

The centre has two playgrounds, this to keep children in an age appropriate and safe environments.
The 3 – 5 years olds outdoor play space encourages fun and exploration.  Swings, modern climbing structure, large sandpit, a cosy dramatic play area and open space facilitate gross motor development.  
The area which opens off the Kindergarten room, allows them to run and indoor / outdoor program.
The layout of this area in relation to the drop off / pick up offers a great position for cheery wave good bye in the morning or a happy greeting in the afternoon.

The babies / toddlers too share a special space where they can add their own exciting touches to the environment.  A wide open space offers the opportunity for exploration and for educational equipment to be varied from day to day.

Kitchen
Our open plan kitchen is warm, inviting and the hub off activity each morning.  
Children receive a warm welcome from our experienced cook on their way to begin a busy day.
Nutritious, age variable meals are prepared daily and served for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
